"O God, humiliate Bush and his party, O Lord of the Worlds, degrade and defy him," Abu Yahya al-Libi said at the end of sermon marking the Muslim feast of Eid al-Fitr, in a video posted on the Internet.
Libi, a top al Qaeda commander believed to be living in Afghanistan or Pakistan, called for God's wrath to be brought against Bush equating him with past tyrants in history.

The condemned inmate, his body torn apart by guard dogs, slumped unconscious as the three executioners fired. The bullets shattered his skull, splattering blood near other prisoners forced to watch. His offense: trying to escape from the remote prison camp in North Korea. "People were seized with fear but no one could say anything," former prisoner Jung Gyoung-il said, recalling the 2001 execution. "That's worse than the way animals are slaughtered." More>>>

Authorities at the University of Kentucky are trying to find out who hung an effigy of Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama on campus. College spokesman Carl Nathe said it was found hanging from a tree Wednesday morning. Police immediately took it down. School President Lee Todd says that he plans to personally apologize to the Obama family on behalf of the university and that he is "personally offended and deeply embarrassed by this disgusting episode." (Would that Governor Palin's family had been extended the same consideration. Orwellian, indeed - Roland) More>>> More>>> Tuesday, October 28

(Editorial note: Fox News reported today that, at a rally earlier Tuesday, Joe "Joe the Plumber" Wurzelbacher agreed with a claim from an audience member that "a vote for Barack Obama is a vote for the death to Israel." Later, on Fox's "Studio B" segment, Shepard Smith pressed Wurzelbacher for specifics. The plumber cited Obama's willingness to talk unconditionally with countries like Iran, but was unable to further articulate the reason for his ambivalence. After the interview, Smith claimed that Obama has "repeatedly" claimed that "Israel will be a friend to the United States" and that (referring to the concerns of people like Wurzelbacher) "the rest of it...man...sometimes it just gets frightening". Well, maybe we can help Shep along because those concerns don't just formulate in a vacuum. Commentator Ben Shapiro provides his insights into why he believes an Obama presidency would be dangerous for the Jewish state. -Roland)
Obama’s foreign policy advisors have been almost uniformly anti-Israel. Samantha Power, one of Obama’s earliest supporters, has suggested that American troops be placed on the ground in Israel to protect Palestinian Arabs against “human rights abuses.” Power was a senior foreign policy advisor to Obama until she was forced to resign after calling Senator Hillary Clinton “a monster” in March 2008. Zbigniew Brzezinski, Jimmy Carter’s National Security Advisor, serves as a foreign policy advisor to Obama. He believes that the Jewish lobby forces America into pro-Israel policy, and he defends Carter’s anti-Semitic book, “Peace, Not Apartheid.” General Merrill McPeak, Obama’s campaign co-chair, agrees with Brzezinski that the Jewish lobby, based in “New York City, Miami,” controls America’s Middle East policy. Robert Malley, who served on President Clinton’s National Security Council, has stated that America ought to simply impose its Middle East solution on Israel. He served as an advisor to Obama until the media discovered that he was holding regular meetings with Hamas. Obama’s friends, too, are far too anti-Israel for comfort. Jeremiah Wright, Obama’s pastor of 20 years, has blamed America’s pro-Israel policy for 9/11. Wright is close with notorious anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan, who has proclaimed Obama “the Messiah.” More>>> Monday, October 27

It took eight years, but on Oct. 8 I finally secured a copy of Fusion Telecommunications' 1999 contract with the Haitian telephone monopoly Teleco. By law the agreement is a public document but Fusion wouldn't give it to me until the FCC required them to do so. Now I think I know why. Fusion is run by former Democratic Party Finance Chairman Marvin Rosen. It no longer does business in Haiti. But when it did, former congressman Joseph P. Kennedy II, a staunch supporter of former Haitian strongman Jean Bertrand Aristide, was on the board. So too was President Bill Clinton's former aide, Thomas "Mack" McLarty, and former Mississippi Democratic Gov. Ray Mabus. In other words, the Fusion name was synonymous with the Who's Who of the Democratic Party Democrats were important to Aristide. President Clinton used the U.S. military to restore him to power in 1994 after he had been deposed in a coup, in part because he was fond of inciting violence against his political opponents. Upon his return in 1994, Aristide resumed his despotic ways. Haitians begged for U.S. help but their pleas fell on deaf ears. In February 2004, Aristide was finally run out of the country. More>>>

FTA: Wallston was one of the few mainstream media reporters to report on this radical Obama associate (Khalidi). Wallston said that the article was written after he watched video taken at the Khalidi going away party. When I asked him about the video he said that as far as he was concerned he was through with the story. I asked him if he was planning on releasing this video of Obama toasting the radical Khalidi at this Jew-bash. He told me he was not releasing the video. He also would not comment on his source for the video. Wallston also said he did not know if Khalidi's good friend Bill Ayers was at the event or not. So, there you have it. The LA Times has video of Obama toasting a former PLO operative at a Jew-bash but will not release the video. This is outrageous. Obviously, this video would do great damage to Obama who struggles with Jewish voters due to his circle of close anti-Semitic friends. Maybe this is the reason it is not being released? The impact of the financial crisis on the American presidential election has somewhat obscured the most important reason why the prospect of an Obama presidency is giving so many people nightmares. This is the fear that, if he wins, US defences will be emasculated at a time of unprecedented international peril and the enemies of America and the free world will seize their opportunity to destroy the west. THE execution by firing squad of the Bali bombers - Mukhlas, Imam Samudra and Amrozi - is set to go ahead within a fortnight. Indonesia's Attorney-General says he will reveal the details by Friday next week.
Under Indonesian law these announcements can only be made after the executions have taken place. It is just over six years since two bombs ripped through the Sari Club and Paddy's Bar on Bali's popular tourist strip of Kuta Beach, killing 202 people, including 88 Australians. In the last 10 months the Marines in Fallujah have done what was unthinkable before the surge began — they have quietly transferred out of one of Anbar province's largest cities. FOX News has learned in an exclusive interview with Kelly from Fallujah that 80 percent of the move is complete. In February there were 8,000 Marines living at Fallujah base. Now there are about 3,000 left. By Nov. 14 there will be none. More>>>

A British Muslim convert with a mental age of ten was unable to blow up a restaurant because he'd locked himself in a toilet. Nicky Reilly, 22, had gone into the cubicle of an Exeter eaterie to assemble the nailbombs from chemicals in bottles. He then planned to rush among the 50 diners - many of them children - and detonate the devices. However, he found he couldn't unfasten the lock and then one of the bombs exploded, setting the others he was holding off. More>>> Thursday, October 16

Granted: Our leaders, both Democrats and Republicans, have allowed the American economy to fail. The pain this has caused and will continue to cause is incalculable. Maybe We, the People should fire everyone in the House and the Senate, hang Wall Street out to dry, and start from scratch--only we can't, that game is rigged against us. Maybe this dreadful economic failure was the "October surprise" that Obama's people kept promising. A handful of policy pundits have opined that the Arab Oil Cartel and possibly George Soros had a hand in this economic meltdown. I wouldn't be surprised but I'd need to see the smoking gun on this one. But then there was the matter of the camel in the room. More>>>

One of the most misleading statements during the presidential debates was when Barack Obama claimed that William Ayers was just "a guy in the neighborhood." Sweeping legal challenges must be made against the creeping introduction of Islamic law (shari’a) in the United Kingdom, the head of a new body of former Muslims said here Friday...In Britain, Muslims increasingly and controversially have turned to religious courts to decide civil matters under religious law. While most shari’a courts have no binding legal authority, a growing network of arbitration panels applying Islamic law have been set up around Britain since 2007, and their decisions can be enforced by regular British courts. John Murtagh says Barack Obama should have known better than to associate with William Ayers, whose Weather Underground group claimed responsibility for firebombing his family's home nearly four decades ago.
"Barack Obama constantly says, 'I was only 8 years old when this happened.' That's kind of his throwaway line," John Murtagh told FOX News Thursday morning. "I'm not questioning what Barack Obama was doing when he was 8 years old. I'm questioning his behavior as an adult to choose his friends, mentor and longtime personal and professional colleague." Meanwhile, where are CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, etc. on this story? Hey, give them a call and tell them 'WHY AREN'T YOU REPORTING THIS???' Call these people and ask them when they plan to report on Obama’s links to all the ‘shady characters’ (Wright, Ayers, Rezko, Davis, Alinsky, etc) When they say ‘we already did that’ get confrontational and say ‘when? Neither me nor anyone I know has ever seen you guys truly get tough on Obama. Why are you guys going so easy on Obama.’ And if they still blow you off, threaten to call their advertisers; that should get their attention. Obama was asked recently in a forum with Jewish voters in Florida about his relationship with Palestinian activist Rashid Khalidi. Khalidi, an outspoken critic of the US policy in Israel, was an employee of the Palestinian Liberation Organization “at a time when that was a designated terrorist organization,” according to Daniel Pipes of the Middle East Forum. Obama responded that he knew Khalidi because they both taught at the University of Chicago and Khalidi’s kids attended the same private “lab” school as Obama’s daughters. Obama stressed that Khalidi is “not one of my foreign policy advisers.” Doesn’t this shrug-off ring a bell? Remember how Obama insisted that unrepentant terrorist William Ayres was just a “guy who lives in the neighborhood” and how he conveniently declared that “this isn’t the Tony Rezko I knew” as soon as Rezko was convicted on 16 counts of corruption? Suddenly, a new national debate is beginning about the national security, economic and other implications of Persian Gulf potentates using their petrodollars to buy up strategic American assets. Most recently, the emir of Dubai's purchase at fire-sale prices of 4.9 percent of the largest U.S. bank, Citigroup, caused a level of unease not seen since he tried to buy his way into many U.S. port facilities. Almost completely unremarked thus far has been a parallel — and in many ways far more insidious — effort to penetrate, influence and dominate America's capital markets: so-called "Shariah finance." Some estimates suggest an amount nearing $1 trillion is now being invested around the world under this rubric. More>>> Tuesday, October 7

Funnyman ventriloquist Jeff Dunham is fuming after a ringtone advertisement based on his popular comedy skit, "Achmed the Dead Terrorist," was scrubbed from South African TV because it mocks Islam. The ringtone was taken from a puppet routine performed by Dunham, a native Texan, in a TV special on Comedy Central. A 10-minute clip of the comedian's routine that was posted on YouTube has been viewed more than 66 million times since April. But the government of South Africa doesn't think it's funny. According to iafrica.com, South Africa's Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) ruled that a GloMobile ringtone commercial featuring Dunham and his puppet was offensive to Muslims. More>>> |
