Is a man who other Muslims think is a Muslim, who feels some sort of psychological need to prove himself to his absent Muslim father, and who is now moving in the direction of his father's heritage, a man we want as President when we are fighting the war of our lives against Islam? Where will his loyalties be? A closer look at the "Invented Candidate"...

In order for me to be admitted to the university I wanted to attend, I needed to pass three courses: a language course, a civics course and a history course. It was in the preparatory history course that I, for the first time, heard of the Holocaust. I was 24 years old at that time, and my half-sister was 21. As a child growing up in Saudi Arabia, I remember my teachers, my mom and our neighbors telling us practically on a daily basis that Jews are evil, the sworn enemies of Muslims, and that their only goal was to destroy Islam. We were never informed about the Holocaust.

Barry said the officers asked him for his license and registration and then said that his license was suspended. Barry told NBC4 the suspension was a clerical mistake, and he accused the U.S. Park police of racial profiling.

Curt at Flopping Aces notes that the Associated Press has quietly changed the copy of their November 28 response to questions about the "burning six" story. And the Google cached version apparently has been changed, as well. The AP angrily rejected criticism of its story about six Sunni men being dragged from prayer and burned alive after CENTCOM, the Iraqi Ministry of the Interior, and bloggers questioned the identity of "police captain Jamil Hussein," their chief source for the story. CENTCOM and the MOI say that no such person is listed as a police captain. Hussein had previously been quoted by the AP in more than sixty stories over the past two years.

No other drink counters oppressive heat better than a gin and tonic. The Gatorade of British colonial days, it was what allowed Englishmen to join mad dogs out in the noonday sun. To my taste, a brisk gin and tonic cuts the dust far better than its closest competitor, the rum-based umbrella drink. That, along with its hard-won stature as a cultural icon, has made the gin and tonic one of the greatest cocktails of all time.

Paradoxically, while the Creator honored humanity with the presence of a child in order to offer eternal life, despicable men and women have decided that some human life is of no more consequence than rancid animal waste.

The New York Times Julia Preston doesn’t waste any time painting illegal immigrants as victims and immigration agents as the bad guys in her New York Times column about the arrest of 1,282 immigrants, whom she claims to be a mix of both legal citizens and illegal aliens. The arrests were the result of a raid on identity theft suspects. more »
