Commentary: This Christian Isn’t ‘Torn’ Over Illegals
by
Roland, the Gunslinger
on Thu 22 Feb 2007 05:03 PM EST

Some people make the ludicrous argument that I can’t speak out against illegal “immigration” because I am a Christian. I expect such ignorance from unbelievers, but it’s 10 times as irritating when Christians say it. “Ministering to all people” and spreading the Gospel are not in conflict with my opposition to giving criminal aliens the gift of American citizenship.
Whenever some Christian starts ragging on me about how “un-Christian” my views on illegal aliens are, I ask them to tell me what criticism they’ve leveled against illegal aliens who profess Christ. In anticipation of the sounds of chirping crickets, I give them an out: Hypothetically, what would you say to the illegal alien who professes Christ?

Joe Lieberman: The Senate's one-man tipping point
by

Lieberman calls jumping to the Republican side, and tilting the Senate, "a remote possibility," which means there's at least a chance of that. Time seems to push Lieberman in this direction, as the article concludes: "Lieberman's GOP flirtation has its risks--and a time limit....The longer he waits to capitalize on his moment, the greater the danger that he'll be tagged as one of those politicians for whom having power is more important than using it."

Well, I started the company ten years ago in San Francisco, and my idea was to make the country's first and only and best and largest and smallest Jewish celebration beer. It really just started as an experiment for Hanukkah of 1996. We made a hundred cases for Hanukkah of '96. They were all hand-bottled and hand-labeled at a tiny little brewery in northern California. I basically drove around in my grandmother's Volvo and delivered cases of beer to a couple different retail stores and to some friends and to some parties and bars.

Utah's Teenage Killer: The Muslim Connection Ignored

The AP, for instance, avoids identifying the boy as a Muslim in all their stories that I saw. In one, they merely identify the region in Bosnia in which he lived as the "northeastern enclave where up to 8,000 Muslim men and boys were slaughtered in 1995" but do not even speculate as to the boy or his family being Muslims. It is all rather dutifully avoided. In another story, the AP doesn't even use the word Muslim at all.

How Feminism Leads to the Oppression of Women
by
The Bartender
on Thu 22 Feb 2007 10:17 AM EST
Feminism has hurt us by encouraging public acceptance of intellectual hypocrisy, which later paved the way for Islamic infiltration. The official mantra is that men and women are not just equal but identical, but at the same time that women are also somehow superior. Both of these claims cannot, logically speaking, be true at the same time, yet both are being made simultaneously. This gross double standard closely mirrors that of Multiculturalism, where all cultures are equal but Western culture is inferior and evil.
