"We're messed up AND stupid..."
by

Thanks to a shake-up in the law announced yesterday, NHS fertility clinics may no longer have to consider a baby's need for a father (or mother), so a gay woman would have as much right as a woman in a heterosexual relationship to walk into an NHS clinic and request fertility treatment in a bid to have a baby.

by

Most fair-minded readers will no doubt take me at my word when I say that a majority of Democrats in this country are out of their gourds. But, on the off chance that a few cynics won't take my word for it, I offer you data. Rasmussen Reports, the public opinion outfit, recently asked voters whether President Bush knew beforehand about the terror attacks on Sept. 11, 2001. The findings? Well, here's how the research firm put it: "Democrats in America are evenly divided on the question of whether George W. Bush knew about the 9/11 terrorist attacks in advance. Thirty-five percent of Democrats believe he did know, 39 percent say he did not know and 26 percent are not sure."

Tommy Thompson’s Ears The Big Winners At GOP Debate
by

“The first word that came to mind when I looked at Thompson’s auditory appendages was ‘gravitas’. His have them, the other candidates simply do not. They are the sort of ears that fairly cry out ‘Been there. Heard that. Bought the XXXL earmuffs.‘ Very presidential. Very strong. My polls show that women over fifty, and suburban Rhode Island residents in particular are very comfortable with these ears making decisions that will affect their lives for the next four years.”

The face- and fingerprint-matching technology that has been touted over the past decade as a sophisticated new way to stop terrorists and illegal immigrants from entering the country through Mexico has one major drawback: U.S. border inspectors almost never use it.
