Never thought I would be writing that headline. Al-Qaeda has officially worn out their welcome in Iraq, although I wouldn't go as far as to call these Sunni militants allies. However, it is a major step in the right direction...

The town of Farmers Branch may not yet begin enforcing its voter- endorsed law barring the rental of apartments to most illegal immigrants, a federal judge ruled Tuesday. Built by Japanese scientists Minoru Asada and Hiroshi Ishiguro (who famously created an android twins of himself), the robot called CB2 weighs 33kg and stands 130cm tall.

Asked what he now thinks of CNN, Shaw told WTTW-Channel 11's John Callaway: "I try not to. I'm very, very disappointed with the way the news management at my favorite network has gone. CNN has fine women and men working there. Lou Dobbs, one of the leaders there. "Unfortunately, Fox News is the ratings leader . . . on the cable side of the business, and what Fox puts on the air is not news."

So I’m in New Hampshire for the Democrats’ debate Sunday, watching on two huge screens. The instant Hillary appears, the woman behind me whispers, “Oh look at Hillary. She’s had work done!” I put the question to WBZ’s political guru Jon Keller: Notice anything about Hillary? “Botox,” he replied, not missing a beat. “But it’s time for Botox to win one.”

SOME see it as a divinely sanctioned safety valve to ease sexual frustration; others call it a hypocritical cover for prostitution. The Shia Muslim tradition of temporary marriage, or sigheh, allows a man and a woman in Iran to marry for a set period of time, ranging from an hour to 99 years.

It's tragic, really. For every math formula forgotten, every anniversary that passes unremembered, and every pet ferret dead from starvation, there's a cartoon theme song from our youth, tenaciously hogging our limited mental hard drive space. In what is perhaps some sort of small attempt to exorcise these demonically persistent tunes from the depths of our consciousness, we've ranked 15 of them through the highly technical and thoroughly researched process of writing down whichever ones we could remember/find on YouTube first. Enjoy.
