FTA- "John McCain's campaign is expressing outrage over a New York Times story that focuses on Cindy McCain's marriage to the Arizona senator, including her miscarriages, her past addiction to painkillers and her failure in Washington to fit in." In the meantime, did anyone know Barack "Barry Soetoro" Hussein Obama is running for President and Cindy McCain isn't running for anything...? Screw the NYT. May their subscription base continue to completely dry up. More>>>

Levi Stubbs, lead singer of the Four Tops and one of the most recognizable voices of Motown soul in hits such as "Reach Out I'll Be There," has died in Detroit after a long illness. Stubbs, 72, had not performed in recent years because of illness. His death was confirmed by the Wayne County Medical Examiner's office. Now they're making a federal case out of ACORN. After weeks of reports of wide spread fraud, the FBI has opened an investigation into the far-left "community organizer" group's nationwide voter-registration campaign. Talk about bolting the barn after the horses are out. It's extremely unlikely that anything significant will come of it before Election Day. More>>>

Let me get this straight. A couple of agitated yahoos in a rally of thousands yell something offensive and incendiary, and John McCain and Sarah Palin are not just guilty by association -- with total strangers, mind you -- but worse: guilty according to The New York Times of "race-baiting and xenophobia." But should you bring up Barack Obama's real associations -- 20 years with Jeremiah Wright, working on two foundations and distributing money with William Ayers, citing the raving Michael Pfleger as one who helps him keep his moral compass (Chicago Sun-Times, April 2004) and the long-standing relationship with the left-wing vote-fraud specialist ACORN -- you have crossed the line into illegitimate guilt by association. Moreover, it is tinged with racism. More>>>

Bencal, who sings the anthem for a number of school events and is actively involved in local community theatre, had been contacted by the Obama campaign to sing the anthem. He agreed to do so, then was told later in the evening the anthem had been scratched from the program. More>>>

While the Democrat-leaning media continues to scare undecided voters with bedtime stories about some mythical angry McCain supporter whom nobody has seen, here is a real district attorney’s complaint documenting an unprovoked assault by an enraged Democrat against a McCain volunteer in midtown Manhattan: “Defendant grabbed the sign [informant] was holding, broke the wood stick that was attached to it, and then struck informant in informant’s face thereby causing informant to sustain redness, swelling, and bruising to informant’s face and further causing informant to sustain substantial pain.” More>>>

The family of an Australian father-of-four who collapsed and died at a rugby league carnival is outraged that play was allowed to go on despite the tragedy.
Front-row forward Fred Lemson, 40, collapsed of a massive heart attack as he walked off at half-time during the Queensland Rugby League-sanctioned All Blacks Carnival in Townsville last Saturday. "Why didn't they call it off?" his grieving brother Darren Lemson said Friday. More>>>

Named after Tom Bradley, who lost his election for California governor in 1982 despite a substantial lead in the polls, the Bradley effect says that black candidates will poll much stronger than the actual election results. First of all, if true, this is the opposite of racism: It is fear of being accused of racism. For most Americans, there is nothing more terrifying than the prospect of being called a racist. It's scarier than flood or famine, terrorist attacks or flesh-eating bacteria. To some, it's even scarier than "food insecurity." Political correctness has taught people to lie to pollsters rather than be forced to explain why they're not voting for the African-American. More>>> |
