You have got to be kidding.

Earlier today I linked to the Wikipedia page about the band The Decemberists, to point out that in addition to warming up for Barack Obama in Oregon, the band is known for using the National Anthem of the Soviet Union as an introduction to their concerts.

That section of the Wikipedia page has now gone down the memory hole.

Well, it's certainly interesting how when it came out that 75,000 people came out to the Obama (PBUH) rally in Oregon that the lefties immediately jumped up with the excuse that the crowd was only that large because the Decemberists opened the rally with a one hour free concert and NOT just to see their superhero. Now it comes out that the lefties are trying to cover up the Decemberists' political leanings in Wikipedia by omitting this stupid song. What's wrong, kids? If your leftist idealogy is so goddamned wonderful, why try so hard to cover up what you and your ilk and particularly your candidate really believe and stand for? F**in' cowards.

We're getting there. We're slowly surrendering our freedoms and shuffling off into the servitude of our centralized government masters. It gets worse every year. We're raising an ever-growing and more self-centered core group of kids who are growing up to be even more self-centered adults that think that the world OWES them something...YOU owe them something. YOU owe the poor and unfortunate. YOU got to where you are NOT because you earned it, but by some kind of underhandedness. Success is not to be valued by punished.

The founders must be spinning in their graves to see what has become of their legacy.
