View Article  The audacity of ego

JUST LIKE the Obama girl, Obama has a crush on Obama.

Barack Obama always was a larger-than-life candidate with a healthy ego. Now he's turning into the A-Rod of politics. It's all about him.

Obama finds criticism of his wife "infuriating" and doesn't want either of them to be the target of satire. Tell that to the Carters, the Reagans, the Clintons, and the Bushes, father and son.

There's no such thing as a humble politician. But when Obama looks into the mirror, he doesn't just see a president; he sees JFK.

We can't build a fence to close our borders because we might offend someone or it's to expensive. But it seems the Arabs have taken a proactive stance that somehow seems to complex for us. Check this out...

Poll: Half of U.S. says press pro-Obama

Half of Americans think the press is trying to help Sen. Barack Obama win the presidential election, according to a new poll by Rasmussen Reports.

In an automated survey of 1000 likely voters, Rasmussen found that 49 percent of respondents believed reporters would favor Obama in their coverage this fall, compared with just 14 percent who expected them to boost Sen. John McCain. The number of Americans who see pro-Obama bias in the press has increased by five percent in the last month.

!5-year-old Miley Cyrus, who is 15-years-old, is rumored to be very interested in the lead role of the film version of "Undiscovered Gyrl". The story follows the life of a wild suburban party girl who fills her nights with booze and drugs and sex. And there's nudity. Lots of it. I mentioned that Miley is 15, right? Because she's 15. Closer to 12 than 20. Think about it like that.

DEMOCRATS' single most important domestic proposal - universal health insurance - may blow up in Barack Obama's face when voters are exposed to the deadly details. Obama has said, proudly and often, "I am going to give health insurance to 47 million Americans who are now without coverage." But are they "Americans?"

Virtually all the children are eligible for the State Children's Health Insurance Program. Some aren't enrolled because the parents haven't bothered, but most are eligible. That leaves about 20 million uninsured adults who are US citizens or legal immigrants. There are far better ways to handle their needs than to turn our entire health-care system upside down.

View Article  How bad was the creator of Peter Pan, J.M. Barrie?

From the beginning, his life was marked by tragedy: born in Kirriemuir in 1860, the child of a Scottish weaver, he grew up in the shadow of an older brother, David, his mother's adored golden boy, who was killed on the eve of his 14th birthday in a skating accident.

Dudgeon makes the startling suggestion that Barrie was involved in his brother's death, and whether or not this accusation is true, the calamity shaped him as a writer, for as an author he brought to life the myth of the perfect boy who never grows up, who can fly out of danger, and yet for whom death would be 'an awfully big adventure'.

I'll Be President For 'The Next 8 to 10 Years'?

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, the reputed "Constitutional scholar," just today said on CBS's Face the Nation that he went to Iraq to talk to important leader that he expects to be "dealing with over the next eight to 10 years." So, does this "Constitutional scholar" not realize that there is this little thing called the 22nd Amendment that holds a president to only two, four year terms? Um, that would be a grand total of only 8 years, Barack, not 8 to 10. Of course, the big question is, will we see this idiot gaffe race through the MSM as it would if a Republican had said it?
