This has to begin to get more traction in the media. The man's a racist bigot and he's been schooled by the best of them. Besides, anyone that would throw their own grandmother under the bus to make a political point must NEVER be trusted, especially in high office.

I always understood that book to be about the kinds of things he learned as an angry youth and how he learned to overcome them. Quoting his point of view as his younger self is the essence of out of context.

Nice defense, but that doesn't remotely hold water.
Barack Hussein Obama is a racist. His mentor was a racist, his wife and friends hate America. Screw BHO. Re: Re: Re: Re: Obama's views on White People, in his Own Words

Are you kidding me? Nearly every quote from the book listed in this clip is someone else talking - and in nearly every case, his perception of their racist, or at least close-minded views lead him to develop his own personal views, which are generally much more moderate.
I generally vote republican - and its people like you who make me loathe myself for doing so. You do NOTHING to refute the previous commenter's point, you pull out a ridiculous non sequitur, (Barack Hussein Obama? How very subtle of you), and then you casually mention (again, without ANY relevant evidence) that he, and those around him hate America. YOU are dividing America. Congratulations. We're not laughing. Nearly every quote from the book listed in this clip is someone else talking - and in nearly every case, his perception of their racist, or at least close-minded views lead him to develop his own personal views, which are generally much more moderate. Well if you're calling Senator Obama a 'moderate racist' I may be inclined to agree with you. He certainly isn't outspoken about his hatred for whites. I generally vote republican - and its people like you who make me loathe myself for doing so. Yeah? And you're a lying SOB too. You're probably one of Obama's Propaganda fanboys working for pay. No, we're not dividing America. You apologize for a man who represents a political party which gets votes by promising to steal from those who actually work to give to those who are to lazy to do for themselves. Dividing America? Look in the mirror you stupid socialist. Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Obama's views on White People, in his Own Words

You've still not brought any real arguments. Extra points awarded for calling me an SOB for disagreeing with you.
I wish we could have a real debate about this - but discussing facts (or even ideas) is useless with people like you - all you want to do is hate, and do it the loudest. Here's all I ask - If you don't want to vote for Obama, please don't. I doubt I will, and I certainly don't want to tell you how to vote - but please - don't vote against him because of his middle name (which he did not choose), or because he's black, or because some out of context quotes played on a poorly made video on the internet made him sound crazy. Vote for whoever you want to because you believe in them, and their stance, and their ability to make the country a better place. Do some real research, try to keep an open mind, and don't get all of your information from one side. And seriously - stop calling people who disagree with you names. This is not us against them, everyone benefits from a good person in the white house. Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Obama's views on White People, in his Own Words

You mean like the Crypt Keeper? He'll say anything the NRC tells him too. He's worse than a sock puppet. But not as much intellegence. Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Obama's views on White People, in his Own Words

Page upon page of history and you want to claim 'out of context?'
You people really do believe this guy is some sort of savior- you'll swallow any lie he feeds you. Sad deluded fools. ![]() Re: Re: Re: Re: Obama's views on White People, in his Own Words

It appears like the only racist here is yourself. Take a look in the mirror, man. If anything look at the disgusting image you have plastered and look at all the anti-black footage of the pre-1950's. You're a classic racist. And it's only delusional to consider yourself otherwise. However, if you are willing to swallow the ignorance by which you have been bred you will understand that your type of sentiment and cognitive abilities are mimicked in the telecasters of Fox news network. Swallow the lies, boy, because you have obviously learned well from the Third Reich.

I see you worked racist, FOXNews, and the Nazis all into one post. Are you just phoning it in, or is there a substantive rebuttal in there amonst the run of the mill blather?

Ha Ha Ha! This is a joke right. You can't seriously think you got something here. Obama reading out of his own book? Ooooo I'm so scared of the big black man and you should be too. Get a clue and come up with some real material for you fearmongering. This is just laughable.

I think BHO made race an issue himself.
And let not forget that old Barry already played the race card a few weeks back. http://thesaloon.net/blog/_archives/2008/6/21/3756019.html Re: Re: Re: Obama's views on White People, in his Own Words

That is a very honest, true statment. I totally agree with it and do not think it is negative at all. I totally feel more comfortable around black people when they smile and are pleasant. And especially if they don't make sudden moves.
I don't feel I'm racist, but and angry black man that lunges at me is scary. Re: Re: Re: Re: Obama's views on White People, in his Own Words

"I don't feel I'm racist, but and angry black man that lunges at me is scary. "
Yeah, I'm sure there are angry black men lunging at you all the time. Funny how many obviously racist people deny their racism. Maybe "funny" isn't quite the right word -- more like "cowardly". Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Obama's views on White People, in his Own Words

EXCUSE ME, it was no one around here rippin' on white people and pretending to be some sort of 'Agent of Change.'

Go to the library and read the book to find out what it really says beyond these outtakes.

How many 'in text' paragraphs, Jeremiah Wright Sermons, 20 years in a racist church and anti-American hatemongering friends do you need to establish Obama is a bigot and a racist? Scared? Sure, of Obama and the destruction he'll bring on the country if he and his friends get into power. But a I prefer a little reality based fear over the delusion you seem to be living in. So I take it that is a no to reading a book to what really is being said? All it takes is time. Who knows... it could bolster your argument.
But a I prefer a little reality based fear over the delusion you seem to be living in. I prefer to read up on all sides to base an opinion rather than leaving it to snippets off the internet. Left, right, conservative, liberal. Why limit your options. Expand the mind. You don't need to live in any kind of fear. Trackbacks
