FTA- Murray blames the hurricane for troubles in his marriage, saying, "Her and I never argued, never fought, never nothing until this hurricane, until we got cramped in that FEMA trailer." His wife, Iris, wouldn't talk on camera, but did say, "Everything is unstable. The kids aren't being raised right because they don't have the proper space." His wife knows she can get the kids and a healthy check every month by leaving this guy, moving away, shacking up with some new guy and have the ex jailed if he doesn't make the payments. Free Country? Not for the divorced dad.

"Can you believe this? I'm actually flying commercial — that's how high gas prices are. I'm at the gate right now. This is really happening — proof gas prices are too high. Tell whoever the next president is, we need to bring gas prices down. ... I can't believe I'm flying commercial. ... Even your boy is affected by gas prices." Hat tip to our man Steve! More>>>

Eric Barone, who broke the world speed record for mountain biking in Nov 4, 2001, tried to break it again by riding down Cerro Negro volcano in Nicaragua. Seconds into his descent, Barone's bicycle snapped in two, hurtling the cyclist down the volcano. "It looked as if there was a rock or something in the path that made the bicycle break in two," said one of Barone's assistants. His first run was on a standard Mountain Bike and he smashed the previous world record (set by himself a couple of years earlier) by recording a speed of 101mph. His second run, on a specially modified bike ended in this spectacular crash. He broke several ribs and his sternum but was lucky to be alive. He had crossed the speed sensor when the crash happened which recorded his speed at 107mph.

Where are all the free speech absolutists when you need them? Over the past month, left-wing partisans and Democratic lawyers have waged a brass-knuckled intimidation campaign against GOP donors, TV and radio stations, and even an investigative journalist because they have all dared to question the radical cult of Barack Obama. A chill wind blows, but where the valiant protectors of political dissent are, nobody knows. More>>>

A group of protesters "cast spells" on the Denver Mint in an attempt to levitate it into the air and shake the money out for the homeless. It didn't work. America, we are covered in idiots.

With his sobbing family looking on in a San Francisco courtroom, former KGO radio host Bernie Ward today completed his tumble from one of the Bay Area's most popular liberal voices on the local airwaves to a pariah caught up in the world of online child pornography...federal prosecutors urged Walker to sentence Ward to nine years in prison, describing his conduct in recent court papers as "amoral, universally unacceptable and aberrant.'' "It's an extraordinary situation, and there just wasn't enough evidence." Ah yes, the fruits of a Liberal upbringing- I bet this girl has never been slapped or spanked a day in her life. And when she drops out and squirts out a few kids, who pays for it? We do.
